To be held during the APHC World Show in Ft. Worth Texas in
Nov. 2008.
Eligibility:
:: 3-Year-Old
Appaloosa horse egistered with the Appaloosa Horse
Club, Moscow. ID.
:: Owners and
riders must be members of the ApCHA and ApHC.
Payment Schedule:
:: Beginning May 2008
nominations for the 2009 ApCHA Futurity will be accepted in five
monthly payments of $110, totaling $550.
:: You must name your
Futurity horse in July (complete with registration papers).
:: OR you may name your
Futurity horse in July (complete with registration papers) and
make one payment of $700 in September.
:: Payments are due by the
10th of the month. Payments made after the 10th will be double
the amount due.
General Information:
:: Advertising, office
charge and judging costs will be deducted from the purse.
:: Cattle charges are to be
charged at the time of the show.
:: All finalists will be
assessed an additional cattle charge.
:: The Futurity will consist
of one elimination and a finals, with the winner being
determined by the added score of both runs.
:: Monies will be paid in
finals.
Futurity Committee:
:: The Futurity committee
will oversee the ApCHA Futurity according to NCHA and ApHC rules.
:: The committee will
consist of the ApCHA President and two members.
:: Owners of nominated
horses must be notified and vote on any rule changes. Choosing
not to vote signifies a “Yes” vote, Majority rules.
