Everyday training solutions are easier if you know how horses interpret their situations and perceive human behavior.  Seemingly a simple concept,  but one that so often eludes us in our quest for better communication and training methods. In capable hands,  Marie Hoffman puts us in the horse's mind for a better vantage point to understanding the way a horse thinks,  learns and develops trust in their human partner.

Hoffman has been a professional horse trainer, riding instructor, & clinician for 29 years. She has 12 years experience as a TT.E.A.M.® Practitioner 2, Tellington Jones Equine Awareness Method,  and has also been a Centered Riding® Techniques Instructor of 12 years.  

She served as Instructor of Riding and Equine classes at Northern Illinois University and Kishwaukee College in Malta, Illinois for the past 5 years,  teaching  Equine Farm Management, Ground Training,  Starting Under Saddle,   Breeding and Foal Management,  Form to Function-Conformation of the Equine,  Beginning Horseback Riding,  Advanced Horseback Riding,  · Adult horse care and riding class,  and Child horse care and riding. 

As a Clinician,  she has spent 10 years presenting Horse Judging,   Horse Care,  T.E.A.M. " hands- on" Clinics,  Centered Riding Clinics,  Horse Body Language Clinics,  Saddle Fitting Clinics,  and Problem Horse Clinics.  She has also been featured at the Midwest Horse Fest in 998,  1999 and 2000,  speaking on TTEAM techniques,  Horse Body Language,  and What Your Horse's Head Shape Tells You About His Personality.

She has been published in numerous horse magazines for 4 years,  including a monthly column in Equine Market and Horse Peddler.

If that isn't enough,  she has also been a horse shoer for 29 years. I think this is a lady I could learn a lot from!

Marie Hoffman with husband Gary,  own and manage On Eagle's Wings Equestrian Center in Kirkland, Illinois.  They provide horse breeding services, and raise and sell Appendix Quarter Horses sired by their stallion Swoon N Red,  caring for approximately 40 horses which include a limited number of boarders
