Overview 2008
All stallion service fees are for sale in a mail- in sealed bid auction. The minimum bid is 1/2 of the regular advertised fee plus $60.00.
PT ( Private treaty) bids start at $360.
Stallion owner donates breeding fee to
CON. (Stallion
Nomination Form) We hold mail in sealed bid auction. If the stallions fee sells,
ALL of his colts will be eligible for Futurity following year. If fee does not sell in auction, owner has option to purchase it for a set
fee. Bids will be opened on Mar 1,
2008. Highest bid wins, in case of tie bid, earliest postmark wins. Winning bidders will be notified and unsuccessful bids will be returned by mail.
Stallion services unsold
by the Mar 1st Bid Opening date can be purchased Mar 2nd through June 30,
2008 on a first come basis for a minimum bid of 1/2 the advertised stud fee plus
$60.00.

Stallion services not sold during the auction can be purchased by
stallion owner by Nov 15, 2008 for a set fee.
All foals born in 2009 sired by that stallion
will have 6 years of eligibility in the futurity.
Owner of colt must be a current Center Of The Nation Quarter Horse Association Member.

Center of the Nation Futurity. 3 payments - 1st due
May 15th -- Second due June 15, 2008, and 3rd
payment due July 15,
2008.
August 16 & 17, 2008 will be a double judged show. Foals of
2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and
2008 are eligible for stallion stakes classes plus other classes.
Classes are as follows: Weanling - Mares & Stallions (both open and amateur) Open Futurity & Auction. Yearling - Halter Mares- Stallions & Geldings & Longe Line 2 year old
Western Pleasure - Amateur Junior Western Pleasure - Junior Western Pleasure - Junior Hunter Under Saddle - Junior Trail - Junior Reining.
Futurity, with the exception of the auction weanling classes is open to anyone and any
AQHA registered horse. The owner of the horse must be a current year member of CON - Dues are $25.00
per year for a family membership.
