I'm delighted to tell you that my three year
Peptospoonsful colt successfully made the open semi-finals cut tonight. He
is a "home grown" colt out of a mare I own (Lady in a Dually by Mister
Dual Pep), trained by
Roy Carter and his team. They've done an amazing job with Copper.
This is a first for me - I've had futurity prospects before but none have
made it past the first go-round. It has always amazed me to see these
3-year-olds perform the way they do, but to have one of my own in that
category is pretty exciting.
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. This was sure a great way to end my
Thanksgiving week!
